Implementing COBie is about changing the way that construction handover information is created, updated, delivered, checked, and used. To manage this change, owners must balance multiple competing agendas of different partners and stakeholders, while meeting legal and practical constraints. This course will guide companies through the process necessary to develop a customized COBie Implementation Plan adapted to their specific situations and learn what is required to implement COBie beyond the first pilot project.

The primary audience for the COBie ScoreCard course is owners or owner’s representatives in a mid-management position. You will create a COBie implementation plan customized to your specific setting. You see how to tie COBie implementation to measurable cost savings on every project. You will help guide those stakeholders and contract partners who need to participate in your COBie project, and what it is they need to accomplish.

Many COBie implementations begin with technical staff. If you are a BIM Manager wanting to implement COBie in your organization, this course will help you engage your entire organization. If you are a management consultant, this course will allow you to identify common hurdles in COBie implementation and help your clients to overcome them.
