COBie Certified Professional Training Pathway Course Descriptions

Cobie As-Designed

COBie As-Designed provides the student the context to understand why COBie was created and how COBie is structured. This course describes the "outline" of the COBie file, the information primarily created by designers. The following COBie spreadsheet Tabs are discussed in detail: Facility, Floor, Space, Type, Component, and Attribute.
Prerequisites: None

Cobie As-Built

COBie As-Built provides the student with the hands-on techniques you need to specify the delivery of COBie data, create that during design or construction with specific commercial software, and test to make sure that COBie data files meet NBIMS-US V3 and standard contract requirements.

Prerequisites: COBie As-Designed

Cobie Quality Control

COBie Quality Control is the first of the COBie Mastery courses. Upon completion of this course, the student will have installed and learned to use free software that tests COBie data for design and construction compliance.
