The Florida Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Center is an approved provider for the Florida Department of Transportation Advanced Maintenance of Traffic Course.
 

Target Audience

Anyone who holds a current Advanced MOT Qualification.

This class is meant to cover the changed material only and not the original FULL class material. Attendees should have a working knowledge of the AMOT material covered in the original course they are refreshing.

Description

This refresher course is for personnel who have maintained current qualification. The Advanced Refresher training is a review of the changes to the Index 600 Series, the PPM, CPAM and any changes to MUTCD which affect traffic control in the work zone. It will also reinforce some of the principles and practices used in the work zone.
The test is open book, and the trainee must score at least 70% correct to successfully complete course. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, the trainee will receive a refresher qualification set to expire four (4) years from the date of the course .

If a trainee does not pass the refresher test, he or she will be required to take and successfully complete the full 20-hour course .

MUST bring a DL and current AMOT qualification wallet card to be allowed to take the exam. The date on your wallet card must be on or before the test date. An email address is required.

The wallet card and certificate will be emailed to you from the MOT Administrator usually within 14 days of the test.

 

Certificates and Wallet Cards

Certificates and Wallet Cards are valid for four (4) years from the ending date of the class session.  No certificates or wallet cards will be available at the class session. A certificate and wallet card will be sent to the participants who have paid their course fee and have successfully passed the exam.  Any participant who does not achieve a passing score of 70% or higher will receive a letter indicating such.  We ask you to allow up to two (2) weeks for your results to arrive at the address you provided at the time of registration.  

 Starting July 15, 2014, All questions on pass/fail or wallet cards are to be directed to the MOT Administrator at 407-505-2803.  Please note there is a replacement fee for certificates and wallet cards.
