COURSE DESCRIPTION

Supervisors are required to motivate, protect, mentor, and lead their team using a broad approach to systems management and staff leadership. This course helps you to understand the technical/compliance obligations and be capable of planning work, documenting progress, and preparing for emergencies. It will also help you to effectively communicate with the public; using listening, speaking, and writing skills as assets. This two-day program will focus on the key elements of managing systems, leading people, and developing professionalism in one’s career. Attendees will leave with new ideas, immediately useful tools, and a better understanding of themselves, their peers, and those they supervise.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Individuals responsible for compliance performance, team supervision, asset control and planning, and overall facilities management will benefit from the topics presented during this two-day program. Utility field supervisors (collection and/or distribution systems), water and wastewater facility managers, public works team leaders, managers-in-training, and environmental administrators will gain valuable knowledge and takeaways to improve their management, leadership, and professional skills.
