Description | Building an Effective Safety Program & Culture Description: This course covers methods for effective implementation of a company's safety program. The seven core elements of safety and health programs will be reviewed along with developing strategies, techniques, and action plans to effectively implement and manage the safety program. Special attention will be paid to the development of a positive safety culture within an organization. Upon completion of the course, students will have the ability to develop and implement an effective safety and health management system for their company.
Key learning includes: • Review the seven core elements of safety and health programs. • Develop strategies and steps necessary for individual and organizational change. • Create an action plan to move your Safety & Health programs forward. • Define key considerations that frame safety culture. • Identify the requirements for creating a positive safety culture. • Discuss techniques to promote a positive safety culture. |
